Thank you for taking the time to visit my new website  to learn about me and why I am running for City Council  in Ward 1. I am the Vice-President of the Meadowlark Community League and a graduate from the University  of Alberta in 2006 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. My major is marketing and my minor is organizational analysis. Over the past few years, I have been working in retail management and using my free time towards improving my community and my city. I also volunteer as a Block Captain for the Capital City Cleanup program and am the Vice-President of the condominium that I live in.

I am running for Ward 1 City Councillor because I am the best person to represent the wide range of communities in the newly designed ward. This ward features many established neighbourhoods that have been around for decades as well as some that are very new in comparison. This creates a delicate balance and requires that the councillor representing the ward understands and works to address the needs of every community. I hope to become that Councillor on Monday October 18th, 2010.
